In the good old days, the bravest kids would dive off this old wooden bridge that once stretched across Village Creek in the heart of the Big Thicket. It stood about 15 feet above the water and saw many floods which totally covered the Bridge. It has since been replaced with a modern concrete bridge, but it will live forever in this painting and in the memories of those who have braved it's height.
